Where can I rent or buy a book in all Spanish?

Question by : Where can I rent or buy a book in all Spanish?
My friend who is fluent in Spanish, and is from Venezuela told me that to learn Spanish, I should try to read books that are in all Spanish. I won’t know it at first, but I’ll learn quickly. That’s how he learned English when he went here. So my question is where I may possibly rent or buy them cheap around Cleveland, OH?

    Try your local library !

I’m not sure about certain shops in Cleveland but if you go to the library, its very likely you’ll find spanish books if you question the librarian.

Borders and Barnes & Noble both have sections in store for foreign language. They are with the foreign language dictionaries. A lot of the time they have novels in Spanish and also some dual-language books that have English on one side and Spanish on the other!

I went to my local library in Richmond, VA and they had an entire spanish section. Try that, or if you can’t find any there question a librarian. Usually they can point you in the aptly management.

If that doesn’t help try ebay or amazon. You can order books for just a few dollars. That’s where most of my books come from!

Hope this helped. Excellent luck learning. I took Spanish one and got a C. No me gusta de la clase espanola:]
    (I reckon that’s aptly?)

I’ve done the exact same thing with French, and believe me, your friend is aptly!! If you go to the kid’s section in Borders, they normally have Harry Potter books in Spanish, but not much else. They also have another section where I’ve seen books like Sundown and other things meant for older people. Check your local bookstore, I’m sure they’ll have something! And if they don’t, you can always try amazon.com, although they don’t have a Spanish amazon.com like they do for French, so I don’t know how the selection is. Also, I would advise you to pick a book that you have already read in English, and that you know very well. Like, I chose Harry Potter because I’ve read it copious era and I know it very well. So, when I was struggling with the French, at least I knew what was going on! Pretty much after I made it halfway through the first book, I didn’t really need my dictionary all that much anymore. After you make it through translated books that you already know, then you should try something you aren’t familiar with and see if you can know it :)
